Description/Pay rate:
Our client is a locally owned and operated roofing company that has been serving the Omaha, NE area since 1960. They are currently looking for an experienced roofer with a pay range of $18-23 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Remove old roofing materials, inspect completed roofs to ensure they are watertight, identify worn or torn areas in roofs, and sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
- Install different types of roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM rubber, built-ups, Bitumen, metal, and dura-last roofing.
- Pay attention to detail and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills and be physically fit to work in various weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and climb ladders with a minimum height of 25 feet
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Previous experience in roofing is mandatory
