Job Title/Position:        CNC Machine Operator

Pay:                             $18.00-$26.00 + Based on Experience

Hours:                         Varies – May be 1st or 2nd shift available

Job Overview:

The Laborer/Operator role is responsible for all aspects of the company’s production process. This includes, but is not limited to, metal sheets, rods, coils, rounds, and beams. The position employs conventional work techniques and safe work habits to guarantee that production is as efficient and safe as feasible.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate Okuma CNC Mill, Kao Ming CNC Mill, Mori-Seiki CNC Mill, Mori-Seiki CNC Lathe.
• Fanuc controls and OSP Controls
• Read a drawing and inspect parts per the drawing
• Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production
• Conduct machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assemble parts as needed
• Utilize GD&T principles for accurate machining

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Check and maintain fluids levels of the equipment/machine.
• Safe-correct-efficient operation of machine being ran or process being performed.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. size and speed) when necessary.
• Maintain activity logs (production sheets)
• Good math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) is essential.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under time constraints.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
