Job Title: Frozen Lead
Work Shift: Day shift Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Department: Frozen

Reports to: Department Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & Responsibilities

• Work alongside management to lead a team.
• Provide daily shift reports.
• Ability to run Mixers, labelers, depositors, chubbers, conveyors and other equipment.
• Report positives and areas of opportunity to upper management
• Lead, coach, correct, and train employees on processes, products, policies and standards.
• Handle minor processing issues or get management involved.
• Read, understand, and follow recipes.
• Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, depositors and other equipment to make cookie
  doughs, soy products, and other products we bring one
• Test doughs as necessary based on customer’s and SQF Requirements (i.e. gluten free)
• Ensure blends meet food safety and quality standards.
• Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, and provide exceptional customer
  experiences.
• Clean and sanitize work area, and ensure all equipment is cleaned according to food safety standards.
• Know the following programs Allergen, Organic, kosher and Gluten free.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous leadership experience (1 or more years)
• Notable communication skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Computer literacy
• Proactive organizational skills
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Problem-solver and awareness
  

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Able to work around flour, nuts, and other potential allergens as part of the daily activities.
  • Ability to be on your feet for entirety of shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Individuals must be willing to work as a team member.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Lift a maximum of 55 lbs
