Claims Clerical Assistant

Job Title/Position:    Claims Clerical Assistant

Pay:                              $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Hours:                          9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Job Overview:

The position is in a central downtown office in Omaha, with a work schedule of 9 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays and weekends. Masks are optional in the office, and business casual attire with jeans is acceptable. This role requires the candidate to collect specific information for the Medical Bill Review department. The ideal candidate should have experience in data entry, multitasking, and handling high volumes of work while meeting deadlines, as the turnaround time for this role is 72 hours.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to both internal and external requests for assistance through inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service that exceeds industry standards.
  • Ensure accurate and complete responses by active listening and probing. Distribute or escalate calls to appropriate personnel and work closely with departments to assist with customer service issues.
  • For effective follow-up conversations with customers by internal partners, accurately and thoroughly document each contact and enter all provided information into the systems in a timely manner while ensuring up-to-date records.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • S. Diploma High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
