General Laborer – Meat Production
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour based on experience
Hours: First & Second Shift / Some Weekends are required
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to clients policies and procedures.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and ensuring food safety. Report any food safety deviations to your supervisor immediately.
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
- Follows production list provided by supervisor.
- Ability to understand weights/measures and identify correct packaging.
- Must be able to read and understand product dating requirements.
- Works alongside others on a line or independently to complete production and clean up requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties and assist in other areas of plant as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- Duties performed in production area.
- Will be required to work in other production capacities or seek supplies in warehouse as needed.
- Ability to adapt to changes throughout daily operation.
- Ability to move, stand bend and lift throughout work shift.
