Description/ Pay rate:
Our client specializes in providing professional services related to both asphalt and TPO roofing systems, including installation, replacement, and repair. They offer highly competitive wages, excellent career growth opportunities, a large backlog of work, and significant potential for advancement. The pay range for this position starts between $22 to $32 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience.
Responsibilities:
- Remove old roofing materials, inspect completed roofs to ensure they are watertight, identify worn or torn areas in roofs, and sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
- Install different types of roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM rubber, built-ups, Bitumen, metal, and dura-last roofing.
- Pay attention to detail and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication skills and be physically fit to work in various weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and climb ladders with a minimum height of 25 feet
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, out-of-town travel, and overtime as necessary
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Previous experience in roofing is mandatory
